History
The history of DCR. From where it started to where we are today.
DCR started back on June 14, 2010, back when the clan was still playing Halo 3. DCR stands for Dark Chaos Rebels. DCR's founder was a member of a clan who's leaders ending up thinking they had no use for what they called the "lower class" members of their clan. They had an idea to get rid of the members who they believed was not good or skilled at playing Halo. They not only wanted to kick these players out the clan, but wanted to hack their Xbox Live accounts as well to make sure they could never play online again. They deiced to give this plan a name calling the act "Operation Dark Chaos" in a attempt to make their clan feared by others since they knew how to hack. Soon their plan became known to the targeted members and thus started a rebellion, so the ODC War began. A bet was made between the to sides that if a certain number of matches were won that side would claim victory over the other. For three weeks the ODC rebels played match after match and lost some good people because of the hacking. The rebllion got rid of their hackers and beat them in the last stretch of matches. On June 29th of 2010, the clan gave up and left the select players alone for good. After realizing their team of players were greater skilled the rebels appointed a leader for their newly found Halo squad, thus DCR was born. Lt Kanada (who's gamertag is now DCR Lt Kanada) was the man behind the counter strike for the rebels which lead them to victory. The team decided to take on the clan name of "Dark Chaos Rebels" as a reminder of where their legacy began. Things were going good for DCR, as they started there were not a lot of members but things built up over time. But then Clan DCR met Clan NBD (Never Back Down). Both were small clans and soon became allies. DCR's Commanding Officer and the leader of NBD came up with the idea to make the two clans one joint clan and named it Clan DCR&NBD. Although NBD's leader had main control of his members and DCR had main control of theirs, the clans made rules together that all members followed. This joining of two clan was going well, but then the leader of NBD became power hungry and started a plot to take out DCR's leader and take away some of the members. Soon the "Traitors War" began. DCR and NBD fought for a while, but NBD ended up breaking DCR apart. DCR was walking on a limp for a long time, the "Fall of DCR" is what it became known as because of the lack of members. The clan seemed to be finish before it really began. But soon Clan DCR got back on its feet and started again. DCR gained more members then they had lost during that war and things got back on track. After a long while of dominating the charts on Halo 3, the day everyone was waiting for finally came, Halo Reach. DCR and the skilled players who sticked side by side had a goal to make DCR one of the most known clans in the gaming world. DCR dominated in Reach, and started to spread to other games such as Call of Duty and Bad Company 2. DCR was running it's normal course with recruitment and gaming matches going well, but more problems found DCR and once again almost destroyed them. The first girl in the clan came, and she was very skilled. The XO of DCR, which is the 2nd in command, saw something in her and put her on DCR's staff, making her 4th in command of DCR. But soon after that for reasons that still cant be explained, she left the clan to start a new one called the Jokers. At the start it didn;t seem like that big of a deal until the CO noticed she started taking DCR's members. Talking to her did not work and as DCR started to fall it once again started a war. DCR and the Jokers was at each others throats which started the "Dark Days". This part in the clan's life was called this because DCR lost so many members in this war it became hard for them to function. After weeks of this war it ended on April 7, 2011. The war was won with some members returning and the jokers disappeared, but the clan still suffered a lost in staff and skilled players thus DCR started "Operation Rebuild". Ending this log on May 21, 2011 until further events need to be added to the history of DCR.
New log entry Jan 25, 2012. DCR has gone through hell and back. These days in the clan's life are not the same as it use to be. To start this off DCR operations were running smoothly. The clan's recruitment was up and they had near 100 members which brought plans to start a new DCR company named DCR Bravo but soon came new problems for the clan. Problems that changed the clan forever. DCR's officer ranked members were leaving, although reasons for this were not yet clear. Then a conspiracy came about. What seemed to be a hostile take over from a clan named TSS and an old Operations Officer of DCR who went over to TSS, was a full blown conspiracy. The XO of DCR, the clans own 2nd in command was trying to take over all along by voting DCR's CO out of power, which is exactly what happened. But with the efforts of DCR's alies he was also voted out of power by the other members, thus resulting in DCR's old Ops officer to be put back in the clan and voted as the new CO. The XO was power hungry and was the cause of DCR's "Fall in Power", an event that will always be remembered by DCR's veterans, past and present. Lucky for DCR, the old operations officer of the clan was still loyal to it's founder and caught wind of the XO's plan and counter acted it. He took over DCR and gave DCR's Admiral back command once the intel about what happened was giving. Most of DCR's staff and members left during this fall, some went to other clans and others just left. Members were lost and DCR was broken. With DCR's best now gone it was almost like starting the clan all over. It took two months for the clan to get back on its feet even with the lack of a full staff. One thing that DCR has never done... is give up. Ending this log on March 17th, 2012 until further events need to be added to the history of DCR.
